This herb tea blend is intended to calm the nervous system. When summer is hot and hectic-chill out with a healthy glass of sun tea.
3 Tablespoons Lemon Balm
3 Tablespoons Nettle
1 Tablespoon Chamomile
1 Tablespoon Mint
1/2 Tablespoon Rose Petals
1/4 Tablespoon Lavender
Lemon, Lime, or other fruit as desired
Add all herbs to a large tea ball. Place the tea ball in a GLASS sun tea jar, fill with water and set outside in a sunny location until tea has seeped to your desired strength. Or If you don’t have a sun tea jar, place the tea ball in a heat safe glass pitcher and fill with boiling water. You can also put your tea herbs directly into the jar and strain when serving or use reusable or self-sealing disposable tea bags.
After sun tea has finished brewing, pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaf and/or fruit if desired. Store remaining tea in refrigerator.
